Can I wear Andropeyronie while sleeping?

Peyronie's Question

Hi

Thanks a lot for your advice and feedback.

Andropeyronie for men with Peyronies disease

My doctor has advised me Andropeyronie. My concern is about the number of Hours (9hours).

So I am wondering if I can use 4 Hours a day when I will be at the office and 8 Hours at home (due to covid).

Otherwise, can you confirm that it is important to:

- avoid wearing during the night
- take one day off per week

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate a lot

My Peyronie's Answer

First, this article covers using Peyronie’s traction devices A - Z and contains links to relevant articles on my website for more information. I also like to recommend reading my interview with Dr. Levine as it contains lot of valuable information about the different treatment options, including traction therapy for men with Peyronie’s disease.

Regarding your direct questions. I’m not sure about your question about number of hours but the more hours you put in the better results you can expect. It is better to wear traction device for 8 hours per day for 6 months than wearing it for 4 hours per day for 12 months. Therefore, try to put in as many hours as you can but don’t forget to take short breaks every 2 hours or so. Watch and follow the instructions that come with the device carefully.

There is no reason to take one day off per week, i.e. you get better results the longer and more consistently you use the device.

You can NOT sleep with Andropeyronie or any similar traction device. To my knowledge the only device you can sleep with is Phallosan.

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best with your treatment.

Kind regards,
Birgir
