The Big Difference Between Penis Curvature Traction Device And Traditional Device
The difference between traditional and penis curvature traction device is actually quite small but it is fundamental... which actually makes it a big difference!
The Little But Important Difference
The little but vital difference lies in the upper plastic support. This is what the penis head rests on and it is fastened to the device by using silicon band or comfort strap (in the case of some traditional devices).
The traditional traction device has two holes, while the penis curvature-straightening device has more, from four to six (depending on the brand).
Having more holes is what allows you to control the direction of the traction and is ideal to correct penile curvature. The direction of your penis curvature determines in which holes you put the silicon band.
But before I explain how the penis curvature traction device works, we need to look closer at the different upper plastic support parts on offer.
The Different Upper Plastic Support Parts
To my best knowledge there are currently only two brands that offer multidirectional penis traction device, i.e. Andropeyronie and Peyronies Device.
Andropeyronie came first with their 6 holes upper plastic support. While Peyronies Device comes with 4 holes upper plastic support, or Multi Head like they call it.
I will be referring to the relevant numbers when I explain how the penis curvature straightening device works.
What Is The Difference Between 4 And 6 Holes?
The more holes, the more options you have. This means that strictly speaking Andropeyronie offers more directional options.
However, the vast majority of men with Peyronie's disease are correcting left, right, upward, or downward penile curvature and both devices are equally suitable in those cases.
In other cases both devices offer suitable solution, e.g. for men with micropenis or those that want to avoid scar retraction after penis surgery. Andropeyronie does this by using the extra holes, the Peyronies Device by using the comfort strap.
However, these cases have little to do with penis straightening and Peyronie's disease and therefore not the subject of this article.
How Penis Curvature Traction Device Corrects Penile Curvature
The direction of your penis curvature determines in which holes you put the silicon band. It is as simple as that.
Curvature To The Left
To correct penile curvature to the left put the silicon band through holes 2 and 6 (Andropeyronie) or 1 and 4 (Peyronies Device), or in the opposite direction of the curvature.
Curvature To The Right
To correct penis curvature to the right put the silicon band through holes 3 and 5 (Andropeyronie) or 2 and 3 (Peyronies Device).
Upward Or Downward Curvature
To correct vertical curvature put the silicon band through holes 2 and 3 (Andropeyronie) or 1 and 2 (Peyronies Device).
Fold the device up towards the body if the curvature is downwards, but down away from the body if the curvature is upwards.
The Bottom Line
Andropeyronie strictly speaking offers more directional options but they are not related to correcting curvature caused by Peyronie's disease. Both devices therefore work equally well on Peyronie's curvature, whether it is left, right, upward or downward curvature.
In my opinion, you don't have to let only the number of holes decide which device to go for. There are some other differences between the two devices, e.g. the comfort kit, the size of the rods, etc. that should be taken into consideration as well.
You should look at the entire product before deciding which one is the right traction device for you.
I have reviewed both the devices thoroughly, i.e. by personally inspecting them and trying them on.
I recommend reading both reviews to help you to decide whis is the right penis curvature traction device for you.
